Scene-It

I have to admit that I have always loved Scene-it the boardgame. Being movie trivia fiends, my husband and I had to pick up the 360 version. It is fun and within the first night playing I got close to 15 achievements. The problem is that the game really isn't worth $60. It's just a trivia game. Nothing special here at all. Hopefully there will be some downloadable content in the future for $10 or less. I doubt it.

I had a free rental so I decided to give The Simpsons game a shot. Wow it is BAD. All you do is jump onto things...boring!!! The co-op is splitscreen which is annoying for a game where you basically just walk around and jump on things! I do not suggest getting this game.

Crazy Game Month

This morning Tony Hawk's Proving Ground totally crashed my 360. The screen went blue and I couldn't power off the 360. I ended up having to unplug it. Luckily when I powered it back on there was no red rings. So needless to say I decided to trade in the game. For one thing the game was pretty bad. Tony Hawk games have become old and stale compared to the new EA offering, Skate.

I went to Gamecrazy and traded in a few older Playstation games along with Proving Gropund. I decided to pick up PGR4 with the credit. I played it for a bit and love how it is more of an arcade style racer than Forza, which I still dig. The motorcycle is my fave as I can pop a wheelie on it.

This afternoon my husband went to Toys R Us to return a game which he already had for something else. He picked up Stranglehold. So far he really digs it

Next on the game horizon is Guitar Hero 3 which I will pick up with the rest of my credits.

I pre-ordered Beautiful Katamari awhile back with a giftcard from Amazon. I was really looking forward to playing it this weekend, however it was either stolen or not delivered. My UPS tracking # said it was delivered and put in the front door yesterday afternoon. So now I have to file a complaint and wait a week to see if UPS can track down my package. :(

I have almost $200 in trade-in credit so last night I picked up The Orange Box and a used copy of Rainbow 6: Vegas. Next week I 'll pick up Katamari and soon after Guitar Hero 3.

I have to say that Portal kept me busy for hours last night. The Orange Box is awesome!
